About the plant

Coscinium Fenestratum, is creeping and climbing vine of diameter 6-7 cm with curved shoots and nodded stem. The outer bark is grey with an inner bark is yellow with a bitter taste. Wood is bright yellow when cut. Fruits, drupes 3 cm in diameter, brown to orange or yellow-grey in clusters of 10-20.

How to grow

Coscinium Fenestratum prefers fertile soil having good drainage and high moisture.

Dried stem and root.

How to use

Stem pieces are boiled and one cup is given in case of a fresh, deep cut. A decoction of the stem is given internally in cases of bites from snakes or animals. For quick healing of ulcers, Coscinium powder is applied after mixing with ghee.
